One of New York City’s most vibrant events, Dance Parade is exactly what it sounds like: over 10,000 dancers, representing over 75 styles of dance, performing down Broadway. I always enjoy attending…and photographing…this wonderful celebration of culture, ethnic pride and dance!

What happens when you combine the NBA’s Brooklyn Nets, bowling and die-hard fans? “BasketBowl”, a fun charity event held at Brooklyn Bowl in Williamsburg. The playoff-bound team mixed, mingled and bowled with fans, with all proceeds going to Nets Assist, which gives back to communities in need. It was a delight to see the players drop their game faces and have fun interacting with awestruck fans…all for a good cause. Everybody wins!
