One of my favorite photos from last year, this was shot during Coney’s annual (and zany) “Mermaid Parade”. On this cold, wintry February day, I am seriously longing for my favorite summer hangouts. Coney is at the top of that list!

Grammy-winning salsa king Marc Anthony dominated the stage in an electrifying concert to benefit his Maestro Cares foundation, which seeks to develop housing and educational facilities for underprivileged children in Latin America.

Combining James Bond-suave with smooth vocals and sexy salsa moves, Marc started the show with his hit “I Need to Know” and never looked back…much to delight of his screaming fans. It’s easy to see why Marc Anthony is adored worldwide…he DELIVERS onstage with incomparable stage presence, raw emotions and an obvious love for his fans. And he can add this photographer as his newest fan!

England’s wildly popular folk rock band Mumford & Sons played the first of two sold-out shows at Barclays Center, much to the delight of their New York fans. Their energy was infectious!

I’ve long been a boxing fan, so it was a thrill to photograph bouts at BB King’s Blues Club in NYC…especially the female boxers. Loved the intimacy of the venue, but the sparse lighting made this a very difficult…but ultimately fulfilling…photo shoot.
